Welcome to New Mexico Energy Federal Credit Union where we are making life better, one family at a time! New Mexico Energy Federal Credit Union is a cooperative, nonprofit organization chartered in 1956.

We serve the financial needs of the following select employee groups:

  1. Employees of and Employees working under contract to the Department of Energy or the National Nuclear Security Administration, who are headquartered in the State of New Mexico
  2. Employees of contractors who work regularly for Department of Energy or the National Nuclear Security Administration, in the State of New Mexico
  3. Persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment
  4. A member’s immediate family or persons living in their households

Our main office is located on Kirtland Air Force base. We also have access to thousands of shared branching locations across the United States that serve the needs of our members. As you explore our pages you will see that we are a full service financial institution offering low rates on all types of loans and high rates on many savings products, plus we have a wide array of other financial products and services.
