Automatic Transfers <top>

Automatic transfers are the most care-free way to simplify your monthly bill keeping. Once you have established automatic transfers, specified amounts of money will be electronically disbursed to the accounts of your choice. These electronic transfers through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) make automatic payments to accounts outside of NM Energy FCU. Many utility and retail vendors can arrange these, which automatically debit your credit union account to make regular payments.
If you are interested in arranging this free service ask us about our easy Switch Kit or contact the customer service department of companies you regularly deal with, such as utility, cable, and phone companies. Each company will take care of arranging the automatic payment and you will still receive a monthly statement showing the activity on your account.

It is important that when you initiate you electronic/automatic payments, that your complete account information is included in your request, or your payment will be returned. Call a Member Service Representative for easy establishment of your automated transfers.

This 8 number structure is for debits from your account such as payments to companies other than NM Energy FCU, as well as for credits to your account such as direct deposit, payroll and social security.
