Direct Deposit
A member may have a direct deposit, which transmits his net pay,
to ALO Employees Federal Credit Union. The member's place of employment
must offer this service. Direct deposits may be used for all recurring
government payments. Portions of a member's direct deposit may be
allocated into one or more of his/her accounts. Members may pick
up the necessary forms at his/her payroll department. DOE AL employees
may also pick up forms at the credit union.
Payroll Deduction
A member may have a portion of his/her paycheck sent automatically
to ALO Employees Federal Credit Union for deposit into one or more
of his/her accounts. The member's place of employment must offer
this service. The amount of the payroll deduction may be raised
or lowered at any time. To sign up for payroll deductions, the member
may pick up the necessary forms at his/her payroll department. DOE
AL employees may also pick up forms at the credit union.
Federal employees are allowed two allotments from their net pay.
