Research
When is our 5.95% APR better than the dealer's 0% APR?
Research shows that you have to read the fine print. You are faced
with the following:
- Most times you must give up the factory rebate to get the dealer's
0% financing.
- Bigger down payments may be required
- Limitations to on-site stock, so your choice of color, style,
or options is limited
- Unwanted options are included, adding 10% to 20% to the sticker
price
- Penalties and a bigger balance to pay if you decide to pay
the loan off early
- Always compare any loan you're thinking about for total cost.
- The best way to pay less is get the best possible price
on the sales contract
-
Or, you can keep the factory rebate, sometimes up to $3,000
and finance the loan at New Mexico Energy FCU's new, low 4.50% ANNUAL PERCENTAGE
RATE for 36 months.
